Covid back to work strategies for many of our clients have now focused on knowing in advance who will be in the office on which days of the week and making sure that cleaning regimes are keeping people working in the office safe. When an office is agile, this means end users need intuitive tools to quickly book a desk for the days they will be in the office, and cleaners can focus on just those areas of the office that have actually been used.
Features include
Find a desk that meets the work criteria for the day - do you need a sitstand with dual monitors? do you need a focus booth to concentrate (because you cant at home!)
Find which work collegues are going to be in the office on the same day - via search or just mouse over the other reserved desks
Auto releasing desks that dont get checked into each morning, so that no-shows are not consuming desks for people turning up without a booking
Admin and Facilities can generate reports each morning on who is expected in the office and where they will be sitting
In addition, the floorsight puck clean tracking feature allows for accurate tracking of when a desk is cleaned. Clean status is activated either by the administrator or via a Cleaner swiping their own access card on the puck after cleaning (or both). End users can see which desks are clean visually via the light on top of the puck and also from the floorplan view in the app or kiosk.
A desk changes from clean to used automatically when a user checks into a desk, or when the occupancy sensor detects occupation at the desk even if the user has failed to check in.
Clean desk tracking runs useful reports for facilities to identify just the desks that need to be cleaned each day - or by simply looking at the light on the puck - if its green rather than yellow then it has been used and the cleaner should clean it. This optimises cleaning to save time and cost while preserving a safe environment for users.
